LisaKobar
Hi experts! I'm a long time Chief user but don't utilize ChiefTalk very often .... I'm not super proficient with all the Terrain tools, so here we go... I can't figure out why my "terrain" slopes up my building when trying to create a walk-out basement. See attached PDFs. I've tried both Elevation Lines and Elevation Region (shown on PDF) and get the same result. I've lowered my foundation footing well below the lower grade thinking that may have caused this... Nope. This has happened on several of my projects. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Terrain issues 042823.pdf
Solution DBCooper Posted April 28, 2023 Solution Share Posted April 28, 2023 Open the terrain dialog and see if "flatten pad" is turned on. If so, turn it off. You might also need to turn off the automatic height and set the subfloor height above the terrain manually.
LisaKobar
Thanks DB... I do already have both of those set as you suggested.
