2nd floor in attic issues

I'm working on as-builts for a traditional house that has the 2nd floor within the attic space and all the roof bearing lines are loaded onto the 1st floor walls.  The issue is that even after I add a second floor with the "make new 2nd floor blank plan"  tool, then add some walls to make them rooms, the rooms do not register as rooms/finished space.  One room did however show up and I labeled it as the bathroom.  What am I doing wrong?   Thanks in advance!

That because some of the walls you are using are auto-generated attic walls that are marked by default as "NO Room Define" which disallows creating any rooms using such wall objects. Open each of the walls' dialog boxes you wish to use to enclose rooms and UNcheck "No Room Define" in those walls. Then finish your design.
