When you click on something in Mac is there a key command to get measurements to continue to display?

On a Mac when you click on say a fence it will show measurements is there a key command or option to get this to remain on the screen even after deselecting?

You're seeing temporary dimensions. They do not remain after deselecting. Draw a dimension line.
