Truss Error

Has anyone else had this happen? Does anyone know what causes it? I had to adjust the height of the floor truss' after the roof planes and roof truss' were created so I raised the roof planes and roof truss after raising the height of the floor truss'. I guess somehow I caused the truss' to react this way, but I haven't been able to adjust my way out of it. I'm using X12.

A roof truss looks to build between ceilings and roofs. It looks like the floor below is larger than the floor above so the roof truss heads down to that ceiling.

If the plan layout is correct, then you have 2 options:

  • manually edit the truss polyline (this will only fix that one truss) so the other will need to be deleted and the new one replicated to replace them
  • manually edit the truss detail (this will affect all instances of that truss but it can occasionally be unreliable. The trusses may rebuild and you may lose those edits).

Of course, it could caused by something else. Without your plan file, we're just guessing.
