divreig Posted January 26, 2022 Share Posted January 26, 2022 I wanted to know if there was any way to force the railings place posts at 8" OC rather then evenly dividing them based on the wall length. For example, if I have my post spacing set at 96" and my railing is 10' long chief will place the posts 5' on center. I would like give me a post at 8' then at 2'. Chopsaw Posted January 26, 2022 Share Posted January 26, 2022 If the railing is reversible, symmetrical on both sides you can simply place a wall break at 2' and then reverse one of the two sections and it should hold that way with a Newel Post at 2'.
