binkpear Posted October 25, 2021 Share Posted October 25, 2021 Which method works best when it comes to importing elevation, lot lines, etc. from my surveyor? I have tried a .dwg without success. Is there a preferred file system to use that makes creating a site plan with accurate elevations successful? I have a lot with large boulders and varied elevations that I have had a surveyor do an accurate representation. I just need to know the best way to cleanly get that into the program. Chopsaw Posted October 25, 2021 Share Posted October 25, 2021 You can use the "Import Terrain Data" feature with any of the listed formatting options. However you will need to be careful to make any adjustments of items that the surveyor measured that are not at grade level. You can then overlay the .dwg file or just connect the elevation points with plot lines if they include the corner points. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
