LauraDaz
I am a kitchen and bath designer. In the floor plan view, when I place stools at an island or chairs at a table, they appear to be sitting on top of the counter or table rather than partially tucked underneath. This drives me crazy :) is there something I can do to prevent this, what am I doing wrong? Similarly when a rug is placed in a seating area, the rug covers up the furniture and accessories that were already placed in the plan.
Dermot
You need to specify the drawing order. See if this video helps: https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/watch/61/controlling-the-drawing-order-of-objects.html?playlist=

Alaskan_Son
Quick tip. Try to avoid the temptation of simply moving items to the very front or very back drawing group and instead move them more incrementally. I think it's easy to just move to the top or bottom as a reflex which offers a quick solution but you end up chasing your tail later on.
