Thercc75 0 Posted November 29, 2020 I created a foundation plan then copied the plan and the layer set and renamed them to lower level plan. I notice that some of the layers such as text are being controlled across both plans, but most everything else isn't like dimensions, wall...etc. aren't. Why is this happening? The second question I have is that if I change the name of one layer in a drawing in the ALDO it changes it in the other plan as well. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

joey_martin 390 Posted November 29, 2020 Admittedly I know nothing about Saved Plan Views as I don't use them, but everything can be done with Layer/Anno (now Default Sets). If you do a lot of basements you are going to need to set up your template to keep everything seperated. You will need layers for each view ie...Text, Foundation - Text, Floor Plan - Text, Framing - Text, Electrical...etc.. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
