Phantom line on elevation

Recommended Posts

So trying to do a quick and dirty concept drawing of an apartment building and when I do an elevation view of it I get some random lines that are very distracting. I have tried shutting off a ton of layers, checking room heights, etc. I am stumped. Would anyone be able to offer any insight?

Try to not move wall top and bottom manually. Almost always a better way.

This is at the left corner.

Thank you! Didn't even know I had messed with the wall height!

Use Edit>Reset to Defaults to put all wall top and bottom heights back to default.

This wall can also be deleted.

It's because the first floor exterior wall bottom descends below the foundation wall top.  Chief doesn't like that.

If you use P-Solids instead of Material Regions for your cladding then you don't get the lines.
