EmmaCox
I am working on a project with a split entry. I have created a pony wall for the basement foundation / framed wall above. The framed wall has stone veneer on it and I would like to have a masonry ledge / cap on it. Looking at other tutorials it looks like there should be a “wall cap” section in the wall specifications, but mine seems to missing. See attached screenshots. Not sure if it is because I am using version X9? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Should I use a polyline solid or soffit? I was also reading about a "molding polyline" but I don't know what that is.
Evolution
Emma, I did a home in X9 that I had a rock wall below and wood sided wall above and needed a drip cap. I made my from a poly line solid, set the material as concrete (you can set the material to whatever you want. I watched several of the Training videos (how to use the P solid and also to make your own moldings). The Belly band Eric mentions is good also. Just go to https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/watch/6117/help-resources.html?playlist=39 FOR X9 . I've included a link I also watched that helped me model the cap I used. https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/watch/10150/ https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/watch/397/
