Rotate just the lot

Hi,

I have been struggling with this for sometime.  I need to rotate the lot (including the dashed setback line) 10 degrees counter clockwise.  I can not find the correct grouping to accomplish it, this maybe related to how close the house sits next the the setback.   I start with rotating everything 10 degrees and the try to rotate just the house back to 90. Instead it also moves the setback with the house instead of keeping it 30’ from the property lines.

I have attached the file if anyone would be so kind as to give it a try or steps I should be taking.

Thank you,

Doug

Go to your plot plan layerset and turn off or lock anything that needs to stay in position and then use CTRL A and transform replicate to rotate everything at once including the north arrow.

I am drawing someone's existing furniture to put into their new home design.
I would like to modify the "Home Gym Weights" Object to remove part of it - is this possible?

      I am using Chief X9

Please let me now if anyone has any recommendations / solutions to this issue.

      thanks,

The architect I am moonlighting for wants the title sheet to be rotated 90° to the rest of the sheets. I am not sure this is possible without creating a new layout just to have the title sheet be in the correct orientation. Is this an accurate assumption?

I know this has been talked about before but I can not find it and I can't figure out how to do it again.
I have a house drawing and I have the terrain drawn and I would like to orient the house differently on the terrain. I want to keep my house drawing square with my plan so it would need to be the terrain itself that has to rotate. I can rotate the terrain perimeter but that doesn't rotate the elevation lines etc. When I select the perimeter and all the elevation lines, i am not able to rotate the whole thing.

Lets say some really careless designer (ummm me... blush)  makes a mistake in an edit table.  How can it be edited?

      Hi!
I use Chief for a semi-production home builder. We have stock plans that are customized. I want to be able to draw my plans with the front door side down, but when you send the layout box linked to a camera view to the layout page, you cannot rotate it.
So, I have to rotate my plan layout pages to fit the side view on our 11x17 paper. Rotating the title block and the layout-box itself is fine, but the dimensions text rotates incorrectly. All our text boxes face right or down.
When I rotate the plan-layout-box to the right, the text stays facing right, (now up) but the dimensions turn so they are now facing left / down.
When I rotate the plan-layout-box to the left, the text stays the way it should still, but now the up-down dimensions rotate to the right/up.

I have tried all alternatives around the "rotate with plan" checkbox in the dimension defaults.

Can anyone help me keep the dimensions the way they are on the plans?
      Thanks!
