Truss wants to fill in dormer, I want to overframe. How do I replicate my normal trusses without them wanting to change back?

Hey all,

My Truss wants to fill in dormer, I want to overframe.  How do I replicate my normal trusses without them wanting to change to a dormer truss?

 

I simply want to copy a normal truss across where the dormer is so it has the same label as all the other trusses. I can't seem to copy a normal truss across the dormer sections without it changing it's shape to fill the dormer.

Open the truss and Lock Truss Envelope BEFORE making any modifications to it and before making the additional copies... Just be careful how you handle them after that, and don't waste your time trying to copy them from one plan to another.

Thank you, Michael! I was looking for that before, but it alluded me, thought they did away with it...ha!
