bondtp
Hi, I am finalizing an auto dealership proposal and wish to add some vehicles to my renderings. There is nothing in the CA catalogues that suit and I have searched hign and low online for something that might work. Ideally I need a generic pick-up, suv and sedan model in a wireframe or mesh. Not sure what to do to find such. Any ideas would be great. Thanks
Chopsaw
You should be able to find something here: https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/search.html?q=road vehicles&backendClass=both
bondtp
Thanks for the fast reply. This is where I usually look for files but without much luck. The non-branded pick up is the real issue.
Chopsaw
Do you have the basic Red Pickup from Chief Bonus Vehicles? Red Pickup.calibz Open up the materials and change white to "opening no material"
bondtp
Thanks I did find this pickup in the bonus vehicles section. I'm sorry but I don't follow what you mean by - Open up the materials and change white to "opening no material"
Chopsaw
There I fixed it. See if you notice the difference. Also cut down the poly count. Red Generic Pickup.calibz
Richard_Morrison
You can also look at AccuTrans 3D (http://www.micromouse.ca/index.html) to convert high poly symbols to lower poly count. Free for 30 days, then $20.
