Anna_Gorres
Hello, Plan is attached. This is a simple plan for a permit. I entered the top of landing height in it's specifications box to be 11'-6". When I measure the elevation, it is way off (South Elevation). This inaccuracy is what makes me worried about using Chief. What is causing this? Thank you! Anna
Anna_Gorres
And again, I am unable to upload the file for you all. I tried uploading in my initial post, as well as in a reply. No luck. Anna

Anna Anna, If you are using X8 (good to let everyone know which version) check to see which 'Elevation Reference' the 11' - 6" is being measured from - floor; finished floor; terrain; etc. If the landing is outside a room it will ignore the interior floor heights or interpret them badly, try using terrain as the 'Elevation Reference'.
