NestNZ
It seems that when I try and print to PDF - using either CA built in PDF driver, or the Microsoft Print to PDF Driver I can't print when the destination file name has a ? in it . There's no error message, it just leaves me on the 'save as' screen (or whatever it's called) and I wait. If I cancel, CA comes up with a status printing bar, but doesn't actually print. Have now removed the ? from the file name and it prints fine. Has anyone else had this problem...or able to reproduce it? Tim
DRAWZILLA
You also can't print with a "/" in it. it does work with a"-" in the name. Not a Chief thing, just a general every filename thing.
NestNZ
Yep, went with the '- 'to print, then went to rename in explorer, and realised that I can't use ? in a file name. The way I found out though, was that Windows popped up an error message, rather than relying on trial and error, and repeated attempts to figure it out. Having an error message box pop up, when using excluded characters seems like an easy thing to include into CA... Thanks Perry. Tim
