From what I understand, you have to cancel from the old computer first.

Yes and it lets me download it on my new computer but then after I put in the key it says I am trying to load the program on a second computer and wants more money.

If its not one thing its another.  I just bought a new Titan computer with a 16 core processor and a 12 gig video card.  So I go to download my x11 and it says I have to cancel from my old computer first.  Well the hard drive is in the San Francisco dump.  and Tech Support is closed and I am dyeing to use the darn thing.  Am I just dreaming to think someone may have solution?

Does anyone know why some of my windows have double window tags, both the same number, that would show in the window schedule?

I cant believe I am stuck with this.  I have a U-shaped staircase with a fixture in the ceiling of the second floor over the landing.  How do I have a switch at the bottom floor and the second floor that both control that fixture?  The fixture is on the second floor plan so when I am on the first floor, I cant see the fixture to drag a switch leg.

That doesn't work either...

I purchase site plans in DWG format.  Initially they imported fine.  measurements and text included.  I must have changed a setting because I cant import with the text any longer.  text is turned on in the options.  anyone have an answer?

Please can anyone tell me why I cant seem to paint the finish flooring?  when I try and go to a Ray Trace it shows the plywood subfloor not the hardwood.

CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN ROOM NUMBERING?  ON MY SCHEDULE THE ROOM NUMBERS SHOW BUT NOT ON THE PLAN.

I am sure ray trace questions come up all the time but here is mine.  Some times my ray traces look great and sometimes so bad that I can not show to a client.  Issues can be wall color all look pretty much the same, everything is very bright and grainy.  I adjust sunlight, turn off most of the lights and others I turn the watts down to 25.  I have the render to best.  I know that ray trace settings can get very complex but any thoughts?

In a perfect world how long should the first pass take?

I am looking to speed up Ray Trace.  Can anyone tell me a great processor and video card to make for great speed?  Right now the first pass on Ray Trace takes about 90 seconds.
