Rashid, Take a look at your revised plan file and see if it is going to work for you. Also please update your signature to X11
How are you needing to control the post spacing ? Do you want to set a maximum or control individually at random places?
Panels can be quite powerful.. thanks.
The spacing question doesn't apply to this Job but have in the past used a different spacing sequence...

Chopsaw,
Thanks for offering.. Nestor has demonstrated these panels before.. Do they resize as needed..? Also is there a manual way to control the post spacings..? File attached.

Thanks guys.. Chief.. myriad ways to get what you want but the most efficient/least problematic is the goal.. Sometimes too many tools confuses... Like Golf.. a friend told me the other day he played better when he used one club only (I am NOT a golfer.. I thought a bagful was necessary).. Now he has a bagful his game is worse..
I used Rene's considering a deadline and the project simplicity but will play with this when I have time..

Rene,
Actually I do have X11 (not using yet) so please post the file.. Will update sig.
Thanks

Hello,
I usually don't do much terrain in Chief but required... The First picture is my destination... The highlighted walls are my focus.. I am using a couple of Spline Terrain walls and 3 elevation regions.. Is there a way to get these walls to control the Terrain as fiddling with regions at some point starts affecting the walls... Perhaps I am on the wrong path entirely..? Preferably the walls change the elevation with no further interaction.

I am not aware of a CAD program that will natively open another program's file, except through dwg export. She is mistaken.

You should post your question the the Q & A section. This is for users posting Tips and Techniques.. OR you can search this section for any ideas.

i am actually concerned for Rocky's Client(s)... I would be quite anxious to serve others if I weren't confident with my tools purely out of concern/respect for those that are trusting what I am providing ... Roofs are one of the easier parts of Chief..

Is this unique to the American consumer market or do other countries share it?
The more expensive ones in that list are not American.. Allplan, Archicad, and CATIA.

Over the years I have grown to look for value rather than a price tag.

Chief is the last program you want to use without proper practice BEFORE you start doing real work... The thing with Chief is first time you use it is seems VERY easy.. Not..! It can be though..
1. Read Manual (the whole thing)
2. go through Tutorials (from start to end).
https://cloud.chiefarchitect.com/1/pdf/documentation/chief-architect-current-tutorial-guide.pdf
After paying that much what is 2 weeks of nothing but training..?
PS.. Sorry I see Kbird already suggested all of this..

I heard that but It just expired and said I have buy it.
Sketchup Free is Web based.. look into it.. But I think what you need to do is already in Chief.

Thought I'd share something with Chiefers here..I have used Concepts for all my sketching for a couple of years and it is amazing.. No more trash or Onion skin.. Layers that can be copied, locked overlaid,.. etc. I use an Ipad Pro with Apple Pencil which I think is the best combination.. Good to have a screen film that simulates the feel of paper.. not a must but helps..
The biggest benefit of Concepts is you draw in vectors.. Anything you draw can be manipulated like a polyline but easier.. It is truly amazing.. No affiliation whatsoever.

Dave.. is that Lumion..? Yes.. just saw the bird flying..!

Steven and Robert.. I am in Peachtree Corners (Norcorss).. and use Datacad as well..

If you're using the join Roof tool and also trimming Roofs as polylines (see eric's video) you should almost never have errant roof gaps.. Roofs are one of the least problematic part of Chief.

ChiefTutors is a great resource... Eric's as well

Ed..
Yes X10 has been sweet.. especially PBR (love it).. As far as X11 I am easily excited.. Would love something special..

The Irony is the relative low cost of Chief may be a factor in why the long suggestion list goes unattended.. I say "may" because more resources may not guarantee the key improvements we want..
Autodesk being a public company is almost required to be parasitical.. like Intuit (Quickbooks)..

In the market as well.. considering:
