I noticed in CA15 that I was getting curbs in areas like porches. Same has been in CA 16. I've been trying to get rid of them to send photos, but they keep popping up. In garages, for wood construction it could be OK for some situations, but I don't want them. In the foundation dbx, it only reflects the width of a curb. I've not figured out how to get rid of the curbs. I don't see an option for that.

I opened X12, but this building may have been done in X9.

I've used a split faced block on a number of steel buildings that had slit faced block to 8'. I had used a block (multiple colors) that a user made quite a while back. She was an airline steward that did a lot of Chief work on the side. She retired and don't recall her name. It was probably 10 years ago. I have not opened an older version of Chief that may have her library. I opened one project that I used it on, but  X15 did not recognize the texture. I haven't done any Split faced block for a number of years. It did look very good. I may search an older version of Chief to see if I can find it. I don't typically open the older versions.

I encountered this same effect recently and resolved it by turning the sunlight off. May not be applicable to your needs, but I only needed the clarity for  interior visual.

I produce condocs in Autocad, but do preliminal plans in Chief. Have been since '94. The process for me is to export to dwg. The layers have to be adjusted (color, etc.) easy enough.

The symbols etc. import as blocks that need to be exploded and cleaned up if used if needed. A bit tedious if needed. The engineers or Architects that I use would never do that. If you don't have a dwg program, I don't think there is a way to send a cleaned up Chief file.

Chief downspouts seem finicky to me. I use molding polylne in section view and place/align in 3d. Just a suggestion.

Just an attempt. I didn't try to start with a polyline. I did a curved railing (I didn't see a curved wall option) which gave me a radius that I could specify. Changed the wall type to interior 4 and unchecked railing. May not be the best way.

I don't usually address the cabinetry views, but was curious about this. Opened a plan and placed a wall cabinet and the default was checked as frameless. I didn't change that and I had a flat bottom. Went back and checked framed in the dbx and got the recess.

Provide the PDF set and the Engineer will red-line the plans with comments. Those corrections need to be made to the final plan set and resubmitted to the Engineer for approval and seal.

I saw a video about creating a cricket, but I don't think that would work for your need. I haven't done a manual dutch lately.

Worked for me. Thanks support. Michael, I've never reinstalled, only updated. As I mentioned, I had done several projects with the beta version with no problem. I don't know what the difference was with the download yesterday.
