  1. Ryan, I set the plan and layout files to 1:200MM and it cleared up the issue in the 3D Exterior Elevation. But this has created a new issue for me as would need adjust all of the line weight values on the layers I changed previously. I will need to decide which setting is preferable for me.
  2. As far as I know the Line Weights are set in Print -> Drawing Sheet Setup, so I am assuming the "rest of the plan" is set per the snip. Is there somewhere else I should look? I have setup the line weights this way per a suggestion I read prior in the forums and am trialing the look. I had to go through and adjust quite a few layers with new line weight settings which it looks like it's working well so far.
  3. I created the door schedule within Cad Detail Management in my Plan file. I do setup custom line weights via Print -> Drawing Sheet Setup (snip below) and was going through editing my new X14 Template when I found this issue. Here is a link to my plan file; http://gofile.me/5m788/kaxgaD8Qj
  4. I can't seem to find which layer or setting that pertains to the "3D Exterior Elevation" which appears on a schedule? For example; the picture of the doors on this door schedule have a line weight setting that isn't going to work. Any ideas how to change this?
  5. Ok, I see your snips there and I was able to get it to work out. Thank you!
  6. This is my Custom Schedule, but I think I need to learn more about schedules as I don't have the Qty's or Area Sq Ft showing up on the schedule
  7. I am trying to learn how I can get Material Lists or Schedules with Material List info, to export to Layout. I am trying to add some value to my drawings to make it easier for my guys to do takeoff's. For example; create a schedule that shows, Material Type, Qty, Description, etc. and then export that to Layout. I have found that although we can generate a Material List with this information, the Material List (AFAIK) can't be exported to Layout. If that is indeed true, then how can we get this information to show up on a Schedule? Specifically, I am trying to get my roof shingles to show up on a Custom Schedule. Any ideas on how I can tackle this?
  8. I want to 2nd Rene’s suggestion to start with a new template. I have had zero crashes since I took Rene’s suggestion a couple weeks ago.
  9. @Neddick - Try Rene's suggestion on a new plan file and try a camera view.
  10. Kbird - I saw my sig yesterday and I have tried to bring it current, but for some reason I can't get it to update. I have an MSI NVIDIA 3080 and Win11.
  11. Thank you Rene. Side note; thank you for all that you do, videos, tutorials, RTRT tips. It's awesome.
  12. Thanks Rene, that's a good point. Is the best practice to maybe use the OOTB CA "Residential" plan template and then build on that? I am not so sure now that I have done this properly previously; conversion vs. transfer?
  13. NVIDIA just released a new Game Ready driver. I would suggest updating and reporting if you have any issues. CA camera views seem to be working without crashing in my newer plans. If I open up a plan based on my X12 template, it does crash, but my X13 plans seem to be working so far without a crash.
  14. Rene, Here is the error; NVIDIA just released a new drive and I just finished updating; Using this new driver, I have not been able to crash CA using the OOTB template. So far so good there. The only plan I could get it to crash was a camera view in a plan I created based on my X12 template. I tried a few X13 plans and I couldn't get it to crash.
  15. Rene, I tried the camera view on a fresh X13 plan and it crashed within 10 seconds. I tried a few things, deleting all components from plan and redrawing walls and it crashed. It is odd, because there are a few plans that I had to make revisions in, and the camera view will work for 10-20 minutes. I am able to get a few RTRT photos exported, and then eventually it crashes.
  16. Thank you Rod for this, but wanted to report that I tried this it crashed within seconds on my 3080 system, windows 11. Hoping Chief can chime in here soon on this. After calling Tech support a couple times and using their suggestions, I haven't been able to fix the issues and it seems like I may be at the mercy of Nvidia and/or Chief for the time being.
  17. Thanks solver, I deleted the Note Schedule I had on the Plan and now just have the schedule in the Cad Detail. That cleaned it up! Thanks everyone for your help, greatly appreciate your time.
  18. Rpadge: thank you, I did find that I can create a Cad Detail, then by adding a Note Schedule (in my case a Foundation Note Schedule I created), but when I add it to the detail, I get a funky numbering of 1,1 and 2,2, which is creating a new issue for me! Here is what I mean; Here is a simple schedule from the plan, and it looks great; Here is the Cad Detail and with the schedule added;
  19. rgardner: Thank you for suggesting the signature details and I did input that info just now. That's a good video, thank you for the suggestion. I have seen it previously but it doesn't detail how to import a schedule into layout. I also did a search via Google and also Chieftalk previously and 99% of the time this resolves my issues, which is one of my favorite things about Chief and that is the community and support that you all have taken the time to provide! It's world class! Unfortunately though, this isn't resolving the specific issue I have found myself in.
  20. I am looking for a solution on how to insert schedules into Layout. I have tried converting the schedule while in a Plan to a Cad block and then inserting into layout by Copy/Paste, but this deleted the Note # specific to each line item and I would then have to manually add them for each line item on the layout page. Here is a picture from a Chief layout where I have blue circled the schedule showing that Chief has inserted it into layout. Any ideas?
