Plumb exterior walls or angled? If plumb you can create a wall type with same depth as PEMB as it helps with dimensions and such. But all other work is time consuming. 3d polys as you already stated will be your route if you want to see 3d framing of steel skeleton or framing.

I love the versatility of the "Structure" tab.

Structure tab, change the foundation wall height and so on. Sorry no new button. lol

Quick answer yes to all, lol. Auto build your foundation and make an extra foundation wall to separate crawl from full height, select crawl space area and open dbx. In structure tab you can change foundation wall to crawl space. Also do searches for your issue and many answers will appear.

I have found that advertising as a design/build contractor did very little if anything to increase business. What made it go was good work at a fair price with lots of references. I live in a small town so the big city I'm sure is different.

Another project and truss company built exactly what I want. Truss manufacturers can pad the cost of a truss package and if not monitored they do as they please for profit. Nothing wrong with that on someone else's project.   I personally set them too,

I design my own trusses with Chief and Truss company software. When we went to all 8 truss manufacturers in MI. only one would even bid project and they washed their hands of the 2 cone roofs. As you can see I did what I wanted on Chief and truss company approved my design and they were built. Of course I communicated directly with truss engineer on this project and the software is for trusses ONLY. No 1 single program can do it all and Mi-Tek is a great tool to have.   

Separate plan file for each design gets my vote. I do it often and not just with kitchen design options. Floor plans, roof design ect.... 

Check toolbar configurations and maybe you can find it.
