  1. Hi Joe, Thank you! I ran a search for "shaker" and found lots of things but no door library. Any suggestion on where I should look? Going through the symbols posts now.
  2. I am using TruStile doors for a current contemporary home project and would like to have a scaleable 3000 series door with shaker stiles and rails (flat interior panels) rather than the raised panels that are shown on the library sample. Is there anyone that would like to create one or can modify one from the library? Thanks!
  3. Very handsome house David. How do you create your control joints in the stucco?
  4. That's okay....keeping those won't be a problem. It is the 130 extras that I'm happy to wave g'bye to. Thanks Perry!
  5. Is there a way to delete unwanted layer sets from a plan? On one of the most complicated plans I have I done, I incorrectly left the "create new layer set" box checked and now have about 150 layer sets.
  6. Thanks Jerry and Perry! That was just what I needed!
  7. "Slide them up" is a huge help. I didn't realize we could do that and have been using the "up/down" arrows which can take forever. Make a change and the window drops down to the bottom of the list. Many thanks!
  8. There used to be an exterior double flood light in the lighting library but I can't find it anymore. Anybody have any idea where it might be? I didn't transfer it forward with the older library.
  9. Thank you! I will give that a go. The zero thickness was part of the experiment to get the expansion joints in the stucco to show up in the 3D views (never did get that to work). Thanks for the tip on layer sets. Is there also a way to delete the camera views so that the counts on the elevations reset? For instance I have elevations and sections that are up into the hundreds but I'm actually only going to use about 40 of them. You have noticed that the foundation is totally wrong, but it is being designed by an engineer and I will ultimately delete the one from CA before then plans are submitted for permitting. And thanks for the "turn off all" tip. That did the trick. With many thanks!
  10. Looks it this one is a problem that can't be fixed. Probably best to draw it all over again and not use the material regions on the exteriors.
  11. Tried turning off the other layers and deleting the material region, but whatever it was doing is still there. One additional issue, I didn't copy all the defaults in the section layer set display and I don't find anywhere to return them to the defaults. I think the material region tool actually cut away areas of the walls because the interior roof structure is now visible
  12. I had asked awhile back about creating expansion joints in a stucco exterior and was directed to use the material region tool which worked well. The problem I have now is that I need to change some of them and even after completely deleting the wall and replacing it, the material region changes remain. Is there a way to remove them without having to start totally over from scratch?
  13. It took some working around to figure out what all that meant, but that worked just fine. Thank you!
  14. I have been manually drawing the expansion joints for my stucco walls on the elevations. I do the same for scoring the concrete for the patterns on interior floors. Is it possible to have either or both of these integrated into the file so that they will appear in the 3D views? I have been adding them all by hand with the layout tool. As always, Thank you.
  15. Okay...I've looked everywhere I can think of and can't find instructions on the creation of sloped ceilings that are not associated with trusses or rafters. Can you give me a hint on where to find the "how to"?
  16. Terrific Joey. I'll give that a go. Thanks!
  17. For sloped ceiling planes I have been using the underside of rafters. Is there another way?
  18. Big regional differences on who calls what ceiling style what, but the one that is giving me fits is shown in the attached. I can fake it by copying my plan and then tossing out the real roof to create one that I can doctor with soffits and solid poly lines. But is there a way to make it work "for real" Thanks! Forum topics have been a huge help as I work along in background
