Where is the project site? Have you done any 3d Reality Capture systems for virualization?

Hi Chris, I just started using this. I have several projects in the works, One is a Matterport Scan of an interior manually done to Chief with the exterior scanned in Hover 3D. As soon as I receive the deliverable from Canvas comes in, I'll be able to compare and see how the accuracy is. I am sure the folks over at Canvas are watching :-)

Is anyone using Canvas scan to CAD? I am using it for all my as-builts in the field up in the Gold Country. Matterport has the floor plan and ceiling plan as a Matterpack that helps with accurate tracing. For greater versatility, the point cloud can be imported in as an .obj file format.

Very tough, Make sure nothing is contractionary or ambiguous. More details the better Compact, use your pages well

Hi Melinda, I use Matterport for all my As-Builts. Matterport gives me all my dimensions in just a couple of hours. I can get all my measures in the cloud once I upload all my data to my cloud storage I do my own designs and drafting I am also in Northern CA.

Very close. I do internal measurements to check against. I also use Matterport for all my internal measures.

Are you using https://hover.to/ ? I have used it in over 20 of my projects, it is now a regular feature of my workflow, I walk around a building and take 8 pictures with my Iphone, I get full dimensions hours later. Might cost $30 to $50 per measure.

Individual must also be proficient in CA Building Codes 2016.
