  1. JKEdmo's post in Suppressing the dimension value is changing the color of the text? Setting? was marked as the answer
    Melissa,

Possibly this setting?  The setting highlights dimension text that has been "messed with."

Which is explained in Help here:

  4. JKEdmo's post in Why does shading disappear when I print a floor plan? was marked as the answer
There is a setting in the Appearance Panel that forces gray scale items to either black or white.

Go to Preferences / Appearance Panel / Display and switch on Grayscale as oppposed to Black and White.  Read up on the help description for item #4.

    That's my best guess.

I believe it's caused by this setting under Preferences / Appearance.  If you set it to "0" then text will not adjust when you scroll in or out.

    Chopsaw,

OK, if I understand correctly, there is no override and it's up to the user to manage with drawing order.  Bummer.

Maybe a future feature Chief would consider?

    Thanks for your input.

Thanks everyone for the help on this.  I adjusted the stem wall height and this works for my purposes.
