Got it. After a couple of hours of trying different things, google, etc. I managed to get it to work. More by fluke. Just in case anyone else has the problem. Install the wireless key. Go into the little window in the task bar that has the speaker settings, etc. and click on the Logitech Gaming Symbol. It will bring up the larger Logitech Gaming Software on the screen but it will say that nothing is connected. Way down on the bottom right corner there is a large blue question mark. Click on it and a pop up menu comes up and it will give you Driver Updates. Click on it and install the new update. Restart the computer. Almost there. Now you have to pull out the little wireless USB thing and plug it back in before it works. All the old programmed button settings are there and working fine.

I have been using Logitech G602 Programmable Mice on Windows 7 for a few years now. I begrudgingly upgraded to Windows 10 a few days ago and now my G602's only work as a basic mouse. I upgraded to the latest Logitech Gaming Software 9.0, like they said to do but it still only works as a basic mouse. Says it isn't connected. I also just bought a G604 Bluetooth mouse that you need to try and Program with their G Hub put I can't get it to recognize things like: ctrl+alt+paste and even ctrl+D That G Hub software is brutal. I'm conflicted if Logitech or Microsoft is worse. Have you tried to open Windows 10 in Safe Mode. Disgraceful. Enough rambling. Sorry. If anyone has a solution I'd love to hear it. Would also love to hear of any other brand of programmable mice. Battery operated (not rechargeable) Bluetooth preferred but wireless for sure. I only need about 8 programmable buttons. I seem to wear out 2-3 a year. Usually the Copy and Paste Functions. I even move their buttons around to extend their life. Thanks in advance as always.

Found it. Open a plan in X12 and then go to customize your toolbars. In the 3D configuration there is a button for "Active View Tools". Click on that and it gives you 3 more buttons. Add whichever ones you want to your toolbar.

Yeah, you used to go on the top toolbar and click on "3D" then the drop down menu had a "save active camera" line. It is no longer there.

I just installed X12 yesterday. When I do a 3D view and want to save it I used to go to the 3D dropdown menu on the tool bar and save the camera view. Tried to do this yesterday and the save camera option has vanished on X12. Can someone tell me how we do it now? I looked on the x12 Manual online and it shows it as doing it the same way as before but it just isn't there anymore.

I just tried it again. I can change the colour but it makes the wall just a solid colour without any texture. It appears to me that the stucco files are "images" or Jpegs so you can't adjust the colour and maintain the texture. I guess I'll go back to the way I did it before - use a concrete wall with lots of texture and adjust from there. Too bad. I thought we might finally have gotten something for stucco that was useable. Maybe I'm missing something? Anyone from Chief Library Department?

I just went to put some stucco on a new house and see that they have significantly expanded the Stucco portion. However when I went to adjust the colour (Blend with texture) I couldn't. The box was greyed out. Anyone else experience this?

I know that I can't go backwards with older versions of Chief but I'm looking at getting a desktop computer in my overseas office instead of hauling my laptop back and forth. I'm wondering if I use Chief X9 but in Windows 10 can I open it/work on it when I get back home in Chief X9 but where I use Windows 7?

Did a search but didn't find anything. When I've sent elevations in colour to my layout pages and then update my plans later on and relink my elevations and try to update it doesn't completely update them. I get some parts of the elevations that aren't in colour. Window changes don't come in correctly, ... Has been going on since we could send the colour elevations to layout pages to scale. Wondering if it is just mine or just another Chief issue we have to work around.

Weird. They import just fine into my laptop but when I try to import them into my desktop they don't work. Alaskan_Son - 3D People Content (is that better?)

I have an older Logitech Programmable Mouse that I use all the time. Wireless connection with a few programmable buttons. Uses a regular AA battery. Was looking at upgrading today and what I could fined had rechargeable batteries that only lasted about 12 hours. My current mouse lasts for weeks without having to replace plus no docking station required. Suggestions?

Made a "Symbol" of a Carriage House with horizontal siding on it. Kept creating it looking more like stucco. Everything else was good. Called Tech Support - Taylor looked into it. Turns out if you click on the "Global Symbol Mapping" box under "Texture" it solves the problem. Don't know why but it solved the problem. Thank you Taylor.

Is it possible to show the Crawlspace Floor below the top of the footing? I've tried and it keeps lowering my footings automatically. I've done a work around by drawing the slab manually but wanting to know if it is possible to do it using the software settings. Not a big deal as it is a one off issue.

Just back from my winter break and mine was missing too. Did the "reset" and it worked. If you think it didn't work at first, remember that you have to reopen the program for it to take affect.

Just wanted to see if it was just me. Tech Support was trying to tell me the updates had nothing to do with it! Anyone lose any images from the libraries too?

Just wanting to let folks know what happened to me. Don't know why but after downloading and installing the latest Chief X6 Update last night on both my laptop and PC all the links to software I had pinned on my Task Bar disappeared. Also, some (not all) the Images I had brought forward from X3 vanished. I lost the People and Animals the rest remained. Have since got things back where they belong. Weird.

Make a square and then make it solid white and put it over top of the dashed lines to hide them.

Thanks for the replies. Think I'll do what Kbird1 suggests as I want the door in the Schedules and 3d's. Wouldn't it be so simple to just have a button to toggle them on and off.

Is there a way to not show the dotted lines on Garage Doors? I want to put in Garage Doors but they will have to be roller type doors and don't want to show the dotted lines and just label them as "roller doors". Thanks.
