  1. That worked!! Thank you!! It seems that X13 is global and no longer per session.
  2. I looked into Preferences and Defaults and cannot find anything related. Not sure what to really look for either. It happens on all plans in X13 - new plan and old I just went back to X12 and tested and that gives me the popup
  3. I thought it should be based on the session, but this happened months ago and has remained.
  4. In this video at 14:30 the presenter shows how he makes a copy of the solid, adjusts it and then subtracts the one from the other. All looks straight forward. However, some time ago when I did this, I had a popup come up when I did not read, I only checked the box and closed it. Doing so changed things and now I am always left with the solid that I want to remove. I end up having to delete the main (makes a copy some how) and delete the solid I want to subtract. Here is my result... https://www.loom.com/share/09256a327b46425d901075f05289dd5b My question is, where do I turn that popup back on, in some way get back to having it work as shown in this video? Thank you, Steve
  5. Here is my results... https://www.loom.com/share/31e3e5d00b7c4ccf930685a6197bdc31 Not shown in the video is that I did edit other details as well. See Yusufs' example .plan above for full DBX details. Thank you!
  6. Thank you Sir. I will check it out. I was also thinking of trying the curved stairs as I didn’t think they could go so tight but maybe they can. I will update.
  7. Has anyone made this... https://www.loom.com/share/ff3cc6ce16d044f5855f2e2a406947a5
  8. Here is another from the elevation view, but I do not bother doing this - never did. https://www.loom.com/share/dc4660196d734590b4bb86e3fa633881
  9. Here you go... https://www.loom.com/share/f4a2aa3a3707454fbeb69a0399e82abd
  10. This is what I do now... https://www.loom.com/share/c24c92fa876444dda5d6228a5bd68904
  11. Here is an example of what I believe Ryan is referring too... Worked very nicely. The one thing I also learned was that Material Regions will sink into the wall, that opens up some new ideas. https://www.loom.com/share/6ce866323d2c49008975346667443c32
  12. I will definitely look into this. I always thought garage doors could use an interphase like the cabinets. Thank you, Ryan!
  13. Another option with less panel layers and only using the polyline solid on the interior... https://www.loom.com/share/fc29e72e37ee488fa30e91f0cb4239b5
  14. I'm leaning toward this way. I would not mull the panels anyway and suppress the label. You can still mull the windows above it and it does not effect the windows panels. The panels can be on their own layer so they do not show up on the plan Thanks to everyone for diving into this!!
  15. You might have something here... Could even be a raised panel
  16. Hmmm. I will look into that. Maybe if something can be created that sinks into a wall, I could create a panel that could be sized to fit under a window.
  17. If it had a few more options that would work. The sill is also different for a Niche than a Window and doesn't offer the sash which creates the panel look.
  18. Well, let me try a niche and see what it does... I think I have some up with a pretty nice option (above)
  19. And another to fine tune this process... https://www.loom.com/share/1763931479674bf8ae2cf9d1c2a669c7
  20. Here I am messing with the Sash and Frame https://www.loom.com/share/89a52ff2afc8416bbfb5649fe75bb1ff
  21. I don't know that there is a real solution here... https://www.loom.com/share/acb90b94e619482db1f15ca503f22b9e
  22. It might be a good option to create a fireplace!
  23. So that did work just as you proposed, and it is opaque in Line Drawing, but it still has the inside to deal with which would not have the panels below the windows.
  24. Got it. I think my issue was I needed space to fit the door because it comes in full size and my three windows are 6' wide. Your symbol looks just like mine so I am getting there
