  1. I have a funny situation that I am not sure why it is not working. I added several stairs in my garage to a lower area and to the basement. These are Open Below rooms, but they do not show the stairs on the main floor. Same with a small space in the foyer stairs where part of the stairs is extruding into the living room - does not show the stairs below. Thoughts? Thank you SCP1853 Roseboom Residence.plan
  2. Thank you Michael! I too am overly busy, but I will reach out to you sometime in the new year as I want to take advantage of the macros to further automate my processes.
  3. I tested my garage doors with your first code .inch and it works great. When I change it to 9' or 18', or heights of 7' or 8', the label is correct.
  4. Well, I will remember this if I run into an issue. I just went through and set up like 15 different typical garage doors and set their sizes and saved them into my library. It all works great for now. It did not take too long if I need to change it later.
  5. This is so amazing!! I did also find out that I can add the door I want into a drawing, size it to be the default I want, and save it (with the macro into the Label) into the library and it will save the macro.
  6. Perfection! %(width/12.inch).round% x %(height/12.inch).round% GARAGE DOOR
  7. Thank you Michael! Michael, I'm assuming you know a bit about the Marcos? I would love to toss some money in your direction to spend an hour learning about this.
  8. Default Label Formatting Custom labels can include a variety of macros that report size information about the object. This information can be reported in either of two ways: • Default Formatting includes the unit of measurement after each macro reporting size information. In files using US Units, sizes are described using fractional inches with up to 1/16” accuracy. • When Default Formatting is not used, units of measurement are not shown and decimal inches are used. You can specify whether to Use Default Formatting in the object’s specification dialog. See Label Panel. Anyone who knows Macros like to send me/us the macro to make labels automatic for garage doors?
  9. See video... I'm trying to set up my default garage doors in my User Catalog but they always change to 9 X 7 GARAGE DOOR. https://www.loom.com/share/3b39de6f1b7c4a41a5a3b922c63d069c
  10. spoke too soon, tried on another wall and the border is there.
  11. ok, so I am finding out something... I did my test on me main floor. Now when I try on the foundation, where the Living Area text is missing, I cannot find or select the border. I tried tabbing and nothing is there.
  12. I found it... Select the outside border and then Make Living Area Polyline.
  13. I need to revive this issue. When I use... Tools > Checks > Plan Check nothing is happening. It just tells me that there are no errors. On another plan a week ago I ran into an issue where the sq.ft. was off, and found a wall that was not ended - or broken. However, I also found a tool where I could create a border on included areas - but for the life of me, I cannot remember it or find it back. Any ideas? Thank you
  14. Hello, here is a video that will show you some detail about walls... https://www.loom.com/share/cd8e2c56be0142b8af16d1d53b0a0faf
  15. Thank you so much!! That is what I was looking for
  16. I watched a video last week on tiling a bath shower. The fellow showed where we can access a free program that creates tiles and materials. For the life of me I cannot find the video nor this program. Any ideas?
  17. Faruk Patel - please +1 over at the Suggestion also...
  18. Exactly! Chief - lets get a default for Polyline Solid - Thank you
  19. Ah! I do more with slabs then PLs so all good. Thank you Michael!
  20. Right now my Polyline Solid defaults to concrete. Is there a way to make the default Brite? Thank you!
  21. That is a great idea. And perhaps the 3080 being out of stock is a blessing. Side note, the other reason is that my son and I love to play Wreakfest together (he is a little better than me but I give him a run for his money), and I gave him my old computer and he is complaining! haha. So he can get some new things and move my 2060 over and then I can upgrade. But it will have to wait. Thank you
  22. So I figured this will raise those who helped before. My son is looking into fixing up my old computer (noted above) and so I was thinking of putting my new RTX 2060 in that, plus he will upgrade some other things. I am looking into the RTX 3080 now which seems by the tests I have seen to go twice as fast. With x13 around the corner and the talk of needing a fast video card, I thought I would look into it. What are your thoughts on the RTX 3080? There are faster but the price is going up fast too!
