  1. I have also been messing with the Properties, but not working - maybe that is more for Physically based
  2. Thank you for jumping on this!! I will try the opaque window glass option. I like the depths the window offers and has a number of options to mess with to match panels to existing remodeled homes. The Region is too flat and I know I can mess with that also, but a window and be a nice panel on a window or under windows on the sides of a door. If all fails, I may just add a solid over the glass.
  3. I have run into this and left it, but I know it used to set back to the main wall. Is there another setting I need to use for a garage door?
  4. Does anyone know how to turn glass into a solid so that in Line Drawing camera mode you cannot see thru it? There are Louvers as a Window Type, but the material seems to be glass and yet you cannot see through the louver panels, only the gaps. Now and then I like to use a window as a panel for under a window, but when I show my model in Line Drawing you can see thru it. Thoughts?
  5. Yes, I did see I can import from AutoCAD which is fine, so I guess I will add that to the suggestions. Thank you
  6. Is there a place where I can set the hatch patterns as default in the dropdown? I do use a few in there but most I do not and always need to go find the one I want. Would be nice to fill this dropdown with the patterns I use. Thank you, Steve
  7. Is there a way to set a default to turn Ray Trace off when selecting Physically Based. I tried to open the Camera in my template and select Physically Based and turn off Ray Trace and save, but it does not save.
  8. I sent a backup of the file I was working on as a zip, and I sent it as a new separate issue. Thank you
  9. Here is the example of inserting a door into a wall - mentioned in the first video... Also sent to support https://www.loom.com/share/217cca8a08844b4c8ff2e66a0f5d1ded
  10. Double clicking the library object... X13 https://www.loom.com/share/4e56ec9db21d45038027560fe2161a2d
  11. Thank you everyone for chiming in! If/when I run into the other things I mentioned, I will try to do a video to show it.
  12. I did share this with support, but also here in case others run into this or have some ideas as to what might be causing this to happen. Thank you, Eric!
  13. Please see the video for details https://www.loom.com/share/ca89a8f7dfac472aa0ffc72c9d2e1eb3 Thank you, Steve
  14. Yes, that is what I got as well. But I have messed with my default walls for X13 so want to just make new walls and see if it is an issue. Thank you for looking!
  15. Yes, I see. hmmm. I use the same walls for X12. But removing the footing did fix the floor. Thank you, I will look more into this
  16. I agree. I took the screen shot earlier and the when I was doing the video I was shocked at how it was looking. But on the second floor all is fine. I did mess with my walls and work to perfect things yesterday for X13. X12 is all fine so I might have some defaults not set up yet.
  17. Here is the plan. Thank you! BMI1962 Kiser Residence X13.zip
  18. Hello, in X13 I am running into this sill issue in the lower level https://www.loom.com/share/9787f55385c74cd8b04753fb13eee91f Thank you
  19. Yes, so if you have sections (section lines) in your floor it will do nothing. Once I shut the layer off it worked. Thank you for that info!!
