  1. I must have a setting messed up.  I cannot seem to get a wall elevation view for my framing.  Wall framing has been built and when I look at the wall in elevation the wall is there with drywall.  When i remove the drywall with the temp delete surface material tool no framing is present.  When using the Orthographic Framing Overview tool all the birdseye framing is there.  What the best way to be inside a room and get a wall framing elevation showing wall framing, headers, etc.?

    Thanks

  2. I know in past versions we could assign symbols to be in the front group or back group so they will show in plan view.  Example... A sink faucet  could be assigned to the front group and the sink to the back so you could see the faucet on top of the sink in plan view. I have not been able to find that setting.  See the attached screen prints showing the faucet showing under (behind) the sink.  Its fine in camera view but not in plan.  Where did that setting go or whats the work around?   FYI.  I'm using a Kohler sink from the MFG library

    Thanks

  3. In our office we have folders for each remodeling project, within that folder is another folder for plan files and is where all the final plans and layouts are stored. Once a project is completed that entire project folder is moved to the "Completed Project" folder.  Every time I do this, I lose all the images, specs drawings, pdf's, etc. in the layout.  I'm sure its because I have changed the file path that was originally used to import those items.  What is the best way to to move a folder containing plan and layout files to another folder without losing these imported items / images and not having to manually change / replace these items by changing the file path one by one?  See attached.

    Thanks

  4. I am trying to set my default dimensions to drywall to drywall  on all interiors and form outside edge of the brick surface or siding depending on the surface.  We do 90% interior remodels and the remaining we get into the exteriors.  Is this possible to set up this way.  Also, in the past when I have selected an interior wall it would automatically show temporary room dimensions but it stopped do it.  See the attached screen print for what Im wanting to do.   The interior drywall to drywall dimensions were done manually.

  5. I have cataract surgery Tuesday in the left eye then the right eye in a month.  I will probably hold off on any monitor until after surgery... But dang that 49" curved monitor is sweet.  Just wonder if I1277220520_TripleMonitor.thumb.JPG.b40a905a889b4e9f2b22c48bc9ad61fb.JPG will feel as I'm loosing usable monitor real estate going away from three 27" monitors

  6. I have three separate monitors now. With the curved wide screen can you get the same viewing area as three 27 ". Can you divide the screen into thirds or is it just one big single monitor screen.  Now I am seeing these 42 and 48" curved wide screens

  7. I have another designer in the office that is having issues with cabinets not snapping together or to a back or side wall.  While dragging they will just go thru the cabinet or wall next to it.  I do not have this issue on my system.  I think I have checked and our settings seem to be the same. Object snap is turned on.  Anyone have this issue in X10
