  1. I have been working on a plan for a client, fairly large and the property slopes from one side to another. I created a terrain layer with a little bit of the pitch but would like a better representation based on the topo lines from the civil engineer. I tried attaching files here, but too large, please email me if you are interested, and yes of course I need it in the next 2 weeks. designmangrove@gmail.com
  2. Thanks for the response. Yes, the account is always the same. And the files are missing completely- as in my User Catalogue shows as empty.
  3. Hi there. I fill up my user catalog with many items, all of which are clearly saved and I'm able to us them without issue. But when I finish work for the day, close the program and return the next morning... poof they are gone! I've re-entered my materials a few times now but need to figure out how to fix this issue. Any ideas? Thanks!

  5. I would like to be able to copy a recessed light like I do a wall type, to create several types of recessed lighting options for lighting design I'm working on. Can I copy them and just rename them? That would be fine. Otherwise I have to do this in CAD. I have several different types of down lights I would like to use.
  6. There is no option to change it to feet in drawing sheet setup either.
  7. Not sure what setting got changed, but when we export drawing to layout space, the scale is inches to meters. This has never happened before. Please advise
  8. i DID NOT SEE THAT! YOU AR AN EVIL GENIUS! THANK YOU!
  9. Since updating to Chief X12, when I export to Auto CAD the blocks are now filled (hatched solid in CAD) How do I change this? get rid of fill? I transfer drawings over to AutoCAD to detail, simply because all of my detail library is in CAD and my engineer uses CAD. Deleting all of these filled spaces is time consuming.... please hlep

  13. @solversorry I'm such a nube. I think I'm almost there, found the symbol piece, but I cant get it to rotate at any angle.
  14. @solver just getting back to this, I dont have the option of an x axis and I can't find the Louvered window.
  15. @solver great idea, I almost have it, but cant seem to get it to angle out. still trying to make it happen, I dont have the same symbol input you have popping up to enter that in

  19. I'm trying to add more architectural detailing to the exterior of a Mediterranean style home. I have the columns and arches worked out, now I want to add moldings around the entryway and around some windows. I dont want to create a belly band around the whole thing. What is the best way to attack this decorative element? Please
  20. ok I will try this shortly. Didn't realize floor height above is better way to go. Thank you.
  21. OK, I'm trying this, thinking the ceiling (B) is an issue, which is what you are referring to "raise or lower roof to accommodate new plate height" . Would it be easier to delete roof all together to make these changes? I am seeing Ceiling B height is not changing so now 2nd floor has 12' ceiling. I deleted roof, changed all rooms to 120", and still have same response for first floor
