Thank you for the suggestion. That worked

Could someone help me out to add a custom column heading to a schedule so that I can add some text to that schedule?
-
oh ok thank you

Hi Joey, thank you for your reply. What does the wall have to do floor above? The hole is cutting through the floor slab

Thank you all. As usual I was doing wrong instead of the text i was using box and adding macro to it. that's why it was not giving me the result. Once again thank you.

%room.internal_area*0.05%
Thank you for your reply, but for some reason it is not giving me the result

Sure, the output (last line of the macro) would be:
%room.area.internal%*0.08
or the macro could be:
DLO_REQD = %room.area.internal%*0.08
return DLO_REQD
hi Joe, when I use the macro you provided it does not give the expected result. Any reason?

I would like to know if I could find total area of a room multiplied with .05 to find out glazing area required for that room in a text box using ruby macro

thank you for the response. Its a finished basement, hence I could not measure the joist depth and you can see them in the site picture as how they look on site. I am trying to recreate for my drawings.. Do you know how could I add the sill thick as it appears in the site picture?

Hi Eric,
how can I add the door and window sill as per the site picture

You could break the bottom of the brick wall and pull it up so it goes over the window instead of through it.
Eric, how do I add the sill for the window and door as per the site picture
-
Thanks Eric, breaking the brick worked. that way my window will stay in the basement for the window schedule. thanks again

Hello, I have attached my plan and the site picture from the backyard. Why is the brick veneer overlapping my basement window. What am I doing wrong? Site existing condition picture attached backyard

Thank you all for your comments and tips. I will combine them. In reality the foundation wall is built and that basement area is being converted into a living space, hence the stud wall added. Concrete foundation wall is the as built condition. Thanks again.

I am new so I am no expert but I found two ways while I was practicing using the software.
Solution 1:
Click the beam and drag it up into the framing and then drag the posts up to meet the bottom of the framing
Solution 2:
Turn off the beam in the deck dbx and manually draw the beam, posts, and footings back manually with their respective tools.
Maybe there is a more automated way to do it and an expert can help you out but if you are in a rush this could get you by in the meantime. I do a lot of projects in VHFHZ so open decks are not normally permitted and stucco beams are awful looking.
Hello, thank you for your suggestions. Its open deck because its only 6" above the grade more over the client don't want a guard rail.

Stucco beam was not intentionally done and I don't know how it came nor neither I know how to adjust. It was acting weird. Anyways thank you

Could some experts look at the attached image and plan and let me know how could I bring the deck joist down in line with beam? Due to the site condition I cannot have the joist sitting on top of the beam.
Glazing (Glass) area of window
in General Q & A

Yes, My calculation would be height x width convert to sq.ft x 0.9 (for frame size) should be the glass area.
