  1. Are you referring to the Closet Shelf w/ Rod? If so:

Interiors > Furniture > Storage Furniture > Shelving > Wall Shelves > Closet Shelf w/ Rod

Or just search "Closet" and it should be the third from the top.

  2. I had this issue the other day when dealing with furred walls. The only solution I was able to come up with just to play with the stemwall heights in the Room Specification DBX.

Also, it looks as though some of your footings aren't lining up. You can adjust this in the foundation tab in the the same DBX.

Did you have official training on this software or are you self taught? I am trying to expand my knowledge and the chief arch videos are the best for me in terms of learning the program.

I'm self-taught. Much like yourself, I found that the videos that Chief Architect has online, as well as the knowledgeable people in this forum is more than enough help.

You're clearly utilizing both options so you're on the right path. Keep it up :)

  4. I used Softplan for about a year before losing my USB security lock. Rather than spend $1,000 on replacing it, I decided to try Chief Architect instead.

Much like Johnny, I didn't like Softplan at all as I found it extremely clunky, unrefined and just very limited. It actually only took maybe 10 minutes of using Chief to regret ever purchasing Softplan.

Also, Chief has better support, and a better online community.

  5. I've only encountered one bug, and it was due to a video card driver issue.

I'd be willing to go out on a limb and say that any issues you're experiencing probably aren't related to the software, but rather your system.

That being said, what are your system specs?

Just dragging the walls did not seem to work for me as the retaining wall below wanted to move with them.

    Using temporary dimensions did work.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I moved the railings by holding CTRL and then used the "connect walls" command to rejoin them.
