I need help with getting my walls back in the upstairs attic dormer in the 3D view. I can't select the wall in plan view to see what is wrong with it. Thanks!

Install wall sconces to cabinet sides

Ok, I switched the views. I zoomed into the cabinet at an angle to get close and included an up close of the vanity in the floor plan too. -

I have X9 but don't know how to use the cabinet mounted functionality. I've searched help and videos. Nothing. How can I do this? I'm using a wall cabinet as a column with a panel front and want to put the lights on it. Thanks! Deb -

Stone patio outside of the new raised screen porch. -
I've been using CA for about a year and a half and have learned so much that I am now drawing for a remodeling company. Most of my interior design projects start out as plans and most don't go any farther than CAD design. If there is anyone in my area, I'd love to be able to learn from you! I am not a contractor. I've had a couple of houses built and know more now than the average designer about building, but there are so many details that I don't know! I could really use a colleague to help me understand the construction side of my designs. Anyone out there? Thanks! Deb Hayden

I purchased the Interiors version thinking that it was going to be all I needed as an Interior Designer. I was wrong. I really enjoy learning how things work, why and seeing a project come together. I decided in my first month of use to get the full version as soon as possible. Thanks! I will be!

I don't believe I figured it out! I realized that if the skylight had to be made on the first floor of this 1 1/2 story home, then maybe the roof opening option would also be available on the first floor and it worked! Now to match the hole with the walls on the second floor. Fun, fun, fun!!

I have the "Interiors" version of the program and need to do the same thing. I am designing an unfinished attic which has a side dormer. I have reviewed many videos, figured out how to place the walls, but they kept disappearing. I finally learned that a hole would allow them to project, but my version does not list very many options for converting poly-lines. In my screenshot, you can see that creating a hole in the roof is not possible. I made a skylight, but I don't see how a roof can be made over the dormer when a skylight is there. I need this dormer to have a gable roof with an open ceiling above it so that it will match what is actually there. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo of this attic, only measurements. What can I do to make this cathedral ceiling in dormer that my client wants me to finish and re-purpose? Thanks!
