I already have tried that and it didn't work

I have a storage room under a portion of the garage. I either end up with a floor at the garage level or at the basement level. It won't let each room have its own floor. structure set up for the garage room then structure set up for the basement storage. if i put in the floor for the basement at its correct floor height it does this And shows this for the garage area above its only happening in this one location. I tried to make that area of the garage its own room separate from the rest of the garage and it still does the same thing. Thanks, Jennifer

Can someone please explain as to why it is when you make a cad detail that you can't set the 'active layer set' to section view or whatever view you want? I'm very tired of making details and then finding out that all these layers on different plans are turned on and If I turn them off on the plan, they turn off on the detail. Very time consuming and frusting. Thanks, Jennifer

Is there a way to make the pair of doors with each door a different size? so it looks like this But it looks wrong in elevation because i had to use 2 doors of 2 different sizes and draw a box over the jambs to hide them in plan. do i have to make a custom door somehow? Thanks, Jennifer

I had thought that too, but if you look closely, the window224-0496 Drautz, Kim - opt3.zip frames protrude out into the wall. i turned on the framing and it confirmed that the drywall just disapeared. i renamed the folder so maybe that's why it wouldn't open.

The drywall on my walls disappeared. these are existing walls on their own layer. the new walls show up fine. They were showing up fine last week but when I opened the drawing today, its like this - no drywall showing. I didn't change any layers or turn any off. how do I get my drywall back? thanks, plan.zip

How do I make the two bottom steps curve to the wall? the curved lines are just lines drawn in. I tried the flare tool but it is not doing what I want it to do. i can't even get it to do an autowrap and miter the corner. thanks,

Anyone else having issues while searching the library for materials? Almost every time I search in the library browser or when making a new wall type, i can type in the exact name of an item and it won't show up. I can type in part of it and maybe an item from a catalogue i don't have will show up. A lot of times it states that it can't find it but i know its in there. Like plywood or OSB for example. I have a concrete floor with rigid insulation below. It has disappeared in camera view and elevation view. I can't find a specific layer that was/is turned off or what I did to make it disappear. Thoughts on how to get my floor back? Thanks,

i have an existing building. I have to make a demo plan and demo plans have dashed lines for items to be removed.. I need to show/represent that the lighter toned items stay and when you have all lighter toned items and this bright/dark lined sink shows up, defeats the purpose. I work with remodels a lot. Its not a NEW project all the time. We aren't that lucky in this area to be able to only build new. as you can see in the attachment, a 'solid' sink defeats the purpose of it being on a demo layer...makes it look like it stays and the rest goes.

How do i change the layer of the sink in the cabinets to match the layer of the cabinet/countertop?

How do i make multi-colored vertical siding like this picture? and be able to change the colors of the siding per project? Thanks, Jennifer

what's the siding? looks like an EIFS or stucco? Could you add in some curved or straight elements above the windows? a thicker element at top and maybe a sill at the bottom? something like this: flower boxes? coins or corner boards at the corners?

What if you just changed the color of the house or a different style of railing? or different kind of trim around the windows/doors?
