breauxlg Posted February 10, 2016 Share Posted February 10, 2016 I just bought Home Designer Pro 2016 and am trying to open a plan I made using 3D Home Architect. I called support and they told me I need to find someone with an old version of Chief Architect that can open my plan and save it as a newer version. breauxlg Posted February 11, 2016 Author Share Posted February 11, 2016 Thanks for the quick reply. I fiddled around until I found the import PDF function. I had a PDF printout of the plan I needed. I imported it and resized it until the scale was right and just went through drawing walls over the PDF. Again, thanks so much for your prompt reply. The only experience I had was with the old Broderbund version of 3D Home Architect. There is no version number on the CD, so I guess it's the original release.
