My question, which I think is similar to yours, How do we control the absolute top of the wall above floor level and how do we provide a footing under the wall with a defined elevation ...... all on a sloped lot. jcaffee
If I remember, I did "break~n~drag" in elevation view. It's been a couple or three years, but I will try to find the plan and post it later, as I'm landscaping--again. jon
crevreer
I've seen it, but it only works for the Pony Wall of the house, not a fence. http://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-01809/creating-a-stepped-foundation.html Break line in elevation and Back Clipped Cross Section - does not help for the fence. You can not drop below the wall foundation.
jcaffee
My mistake. You need to create short foundation wall segments (about three panels on a steep grade) separate from the fence, then break and drag the new foundation walls. jon Step Fence with Foundation.plan
JackSH2
jcaffee, thank you very much for your help! Build => Wall => Foundation Wall + place on top Build => Fencing => Fence. Foundation wall - unchecked. Step Terrain - checked. Foundation Wall can be broken in cross-section view and in elevation view.
