7seat852 Posted July 11, 2015 Share Posted July 11, 2015 I am a builder in Washington State, looking to hire a draftsman to complete plans. We are starting to get busy building and due to my poor skills at using Chief, I am getting behind on turning plans around. I currently use X6 Premier and a successful candidate would need to run the same program. We use a local engineer to mark up drawings for the structural work and then input the information on to the drawings, which he in turn reviews and can then stamp the drawings for permit. Our need is for someone who can work on the drawing with us, not someone who takes the plan and re inputs it into there format. Some of the custom work has multiple changes and I often sit at my desk with the customer and perform changes while they watch, so we need to be able to access and work on the plan.
