Chief As-Built Share Fails

Does anyone know how to fix the issue of not being able to share plans that were made with chief as built app? I can upload them to the cloud and import in my account, but when i try to share it to other, im left with an error message: share failed chief as built was unable to share this plan. please verify that your default email app is configured properly and that you are connected to the internet, then try again. I changed the default email on my iphone to gmail and I am connected to the internet. Thanks for the help!

I haven't used it yet since I don't have either an iphone or ipad.  I only found this really basic info on the Chief web site so you will probably need to contact tech support for more help. 

Can my client scan a room and share the 3D model with me?

Yes—once the room is scanned, place the model on the Chief Cloud, then use the sharing link. The sharing link generates a share code that can be used to access the model. Note, if your client does not have a Chief Architect account, they will need to create one.

I resolved the issue. If anyone has this issue as well, the fix is that on an iPhone, you will need to login with your email on the default "Mail" app that apple provides you with. Even if you set your default mail as gmail and delete Mail, it will not work. You need to set up the Mail app to be able to give a share code! Toodaloo
