Railing panel does not appear over door.

This post refers to CA Premier X18.

 

The attached plans are for a small structure to hopefully make it simple to explain. There is one room. All four walls have 48" pony walls.The upper part of the wall is a railing type using panels that are lattice. The problem I am having is that when I put an 80" high door in one of the walls, the lattice above the door disappears. I can't figure this out. This is occurring in both 3D and ortho renderings. The attached zip file contains 2 plan files and 2 jpg images.

 

I have been using Premier since version 11 so I would say I'm probably intermediate level.

 

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. This is not a high priority request.

Yeah, I think that's what doors do when they are in railings.  It usually looks fine when you are putting a gate into a railing or fence but looks silly in this case.

 

One thing you could do is just make a section of lattice as a symbol and then manually place it above the door.

 

You might also want to send it into Chief and ask them for the ability to make the wall cutout above the door optional.
