Change sill height on wall niche

Is there a way to change the height of a sill on a wall niche without having to add a slab in front of it?  I like to trim my shower niches with 1/2" Corian solid surface.  I like to include a sill (1/2" H) but can never figure out how to change the height of the sill so it looks accurate.  Anyone have a tip on how to do that?

Try creating your own custom molding profile that is the shape and size you want, adding it to the library, and then selecting that for your sill.  I think the default molding it uses for the wall niche is always going to be 1".

 

BTW, this works the same for windows as it does for wall niches.
