Schedule: Veneer Quantity by Area (?)

Hello,

 

If I'm trying to get an accurate indication of how much material 'BRICK' I'm using in my plan, would the correct path be "Create Custom Schedule"?

 

Then is there any assistance you can offer on how to arrive at takeoffs?

Its not super clear on which columns to add to arrive at the correct data population.

Why not use the Material List?

 

To get it to calculate by Area, go into the Define Material > Materials List panel, and change it from Count to Area:
