mholley
I am getting back into Chief after a couple of years and am using X17 and am having a heck of a time with it. I relocated a window and the walls did not update, and this isn't the first time. Also, as you can see, my framing isn't being cut at the wall. Has this happened to anyone else and why? Here's my system: Processor Intel® Core Ultra 7 processor 265K (3.90GHz, Turbo 5.50GHz) System Memory 64GB DDR5-5600 MHz (2 - 32GB DIMMS) Expansion Card Slot(s) NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB (3 Slot) M.2 Storage 1.0TB SSD NVMe/PCIe 5.0 M.2 Drive Operating System Microsoft Windows 11 Professional

mholley
Thank you for responding, but no, this happened when I moved the window up. It eventually refills, but I'm wondering if the program is a bit buggy? I'm having other issues that I can't figure out--the object eyedropper doesn't work consistently, for example. If you are trying to use it on walls, walls derive their materials from their wall definition. There are other such hard coded definitions that conflict with this as well such as structure(A concrete porch for instance) I would suggest sharing your plan file with wetransfer or cloud so we can take a look at the window issue Edited 13 hours ago by Renerabbitt
mholley
I think it was my graphics card settings and it cleared up. I didn't have the card optimized for CA : (
