I am trying to put a cap on a stovepipe.  The cap shows in full overview, but I cannot align it in that view.  I have tried to go to show items in cross section and have picked the layer (exterior furniture) and it does not show up.  Am I doing something wrong?

See if the stovepipe is really on the exterior furniture layer.  Select it in the view you can see it in and check the status bar to see the layer it's on.

 

Also, probably want to use a better description for you post in the future.  You can always add a signature that has your company name or other info.
