tbuck1db
I imported this plan from a .DWG file and then used cad to walls to create the initial model. I can't figure out why each of the walls has a line at then end of it and is missing the siding layer. I've never seen it before and must have to do with the .DWG import and cad to walls function. Can anyone tell me how to fix those two items?TBA plan Rynowecer; Scheme 3.zip Using X17. Solution ChiefTylerL Posted December 9 Solution Share Posted December 9 Hello @tbuck1db, in the attached plan you have both the Walls, Main Layer Only and the Walls, Through Wall Lines layers enabled which are going to control how your walls are displayed. To fix this: 1. Go to Tools> Layer Settings> Display Options 2. Find Walls, Main Layer Only and Walls, Through Wall Lines and turn these layers off 3. Click OK This should display your walls like you're used to. I hope this helps!
tbuck1db
Thank you! that took care of the siding layer displaying. I still have each wall separated by a line, and not continuous. Anyone have an idea for that?
ChiefTylerL
Based off of your description I think this should be the Walls, Through Wall Lines layer. Walls, Through Wall Lines layer enabled Walls, Through Wall Lines layer disabled Does turning this layer off fix those lines for you? If not, would you please attach an image of what you're seeing?
