Cutting a door in half?

I need a profile view of a custom cabinet door for a shop drawing to show the sticking, like the door was cut in half.  Probably in a 2d view capable of being dimensioned and sent to layout page.  Is this a possibility?  I saw an older post with a video that may be the answer, but the video is no longer available.  I'm on X15

Have you tried just using a cross section of the door by itself?  If you need to make edits to the profile, you could always use the "cad detail from view" tool.
