Porch Barrel Roof - Architectural Block??

With the Porch Barrel Roof made and saved as a Symbol into my Library, here is the next question.

 

I did not think about this part prior - when the Porch Barrel Roof Symbol is placed into a Plan with a structure (home), and when connecting to or placing against the home....is there a way to drag the roof only onto the home to tie into (over frame) onto the roof of the home?

 

I understand this probably needs to be an Architectural Block instead of a Symbol.

 

However you can not include walls into an Architectural Block.

 

Might there be a way to do this is suppose without the walls?

 

Was looking for an easy way to use this when needed and then just drag the roof into position onto the structure of the home,

If it is a symbol, the best you can do is resize it and stretch it but you can't split it apart into separate pieces.

 

Since I don't think you can put all of the parts into an architectural block, that probably won't work.

 

One thing that might work would be to put it into a plan all by itself and just copy it into a new plan when you need it.  Can't really keep it in the library though.
