Trying to Save a Porch Barrel Roof - Convert to Symbol

I made a Porch Barreld Roof I would like to Convert to Symbol.

 

Have I made one of the items incorrectly and it won't allow me to Convert to Symbol for later use?

 

Not sure - how to correct

Drew, in a 3D view, use tools > symbol > convert to symbol

Well Scott.....that was pretty easy  as I was trying to focus on the tool bar selection in the lower left.
