GrizzL
I am using invisible walls to achieve the roof extensions and lean to's on this build. The gap looks to be from the invisible front wall intersection. What is the best practice for filling in this gap in these walls? I resorted to creating a custom wall to use and manually edited the wall from the floor up. Is there is a way to do this with auto generated walls or is it a manual job that I haven't figured out yet? Love.plan.zip
PitMan71
Try clicking on that wall and using the "edit wall layer intersection" tool. It might allow you to pull the galvalume layer over ignoring the intersection.
Solution Michael_Gia Posted Wednesday at 06:37 PM Solution Share Posted Wednesday at 06:37 PM 3D Solid + paint with same material. Get used to doing this on a regular basis and have layers assigned to those 3D solids so they only show up where you want to see them. I have a layer called "_Healing Solids" because my 3d models always seem to be missing flesh. 1
GrizzL
Thanks for the tip Shane! I wasn't familiar with that tool yet. Unfortunately it didn't work but now I do know about its usefulness. I've never used 3D solids either but they worked like a charm. I'm going to name them healing solids as well Michael that does seem fitting. Thx!
PitMan71
I wonder why that is an issue in the first place..... Might be a good thing to bring up to support to see what they have to say about it. Im not a fan of having #D solids all over the place.... I know sometimes they are necessary because of a special shape, but when it's fundamental stuff there should be a solution and not a work-around.
