Small greenhouse/atrium/glass roof

I'm looking to create something similar to this over just the corner of the kitchen. I'm a student and learning as I go. I just can't seem to figure this out. Ive watched all the videos but they dont explain how to get those heavy wood beams in the roof with the glass.  Unless i missed something. Any suggestions on how i could achieve something close to this?

For the walls, use a fixed window with no sash and wide casings. For the ceiling, drop in some skylights. Here's a small room I drew up as an example:
