Wall stick out beyond corners

Is there a way to alter the way Chief handles corner wall cleanup? I have a situation where I need a wall to come out beyond another wall to catch the end of some cabinets. The wall at the end of the cabinets needs to stick out about 4" beyond the face of the intersecting wall, BUT Chief insists on cleaning up and creating a corner. If its out about 6" its lets it be, any shorter and it creates a corner which is 99 percent of cases is the desired outcome. I know it's a small detailed thing, but it seems like there should be a way to tell chief to ignore the normal wall cleanup directives for a particular wall and let it stick out the desired amount.

Place a small room divider (wall type) perpendicular to the wall in question.  You can then drag the wall to the room divider and it will stop at that point and not snap back.
