Grouping like layers?

Im hoping there is a way to group layers to reduce the endless scroll in search of the desired layer. Example: all framing layers can be collapsed to reduce the length of the list.

Nope.  You can use the search tool which is waaay faster than scrolling.  You can also use the ALDO which will only show you the layers for the object you have selected.
